About Me

Meet Funmi Menson, a woman passionately devoted to the things of God. With an unwavering positive mindset, she exudes a contagious enthusiasm for life, mentoring and empowering others to unlock their true potential. For over two decades, Funmi has been an invaluable part of her local church, DCH, serving as a worship leader and dedicated praise team member.

Beyond her spiritual endeavors, Funmi embarked on a fulfilling nursing career 17 years ago, graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University. However, her insatiable hunger for growth led her to a career shift over 10 years ago. Presently, she stands as a senior business intelligence software developer/consultant, collaborating with multiple large-scale healthcare organizations to transform data into actionable insights. Always striving for excellence, Funmi earned her master’s degree in information technology/project management from Colorado Technical University and holds multiple programming certifcations, including three from the prestigious Harvard School of Business. But her quest for knowledge doesn’t end there. As you read this book, Funmi is in the fnal year of her doctoral program to become a DBA in data analytics, dedicating her efforts to her groundbreaking dissertation. Amidst this journey of academic pursuits and professional excellence, she remains rooted in her faith and God’s master plan for her life. 

Deeply compassionate about helping the less privileged, Funmi is the founder and president of the non-proft organization Safe House Foundation. This noble initiative provides shared housing for those in need, refecting her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. While Funmi’s accomplishments are awe-inspiring, what sets her apart is her heart for God and her unwavering dedication to embracing a life of contentment and trust in His master plan.
